    Universities offer a range of options for scholarships both for bachelor’s and master’s level  international  students,  as  The  first academic year the scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee. In the following academic years, the scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee if a student earns required credits for the program.

    Part Time work/Student Jobs

    • International Students can also work for 25 hours per week (part‐time) on average during the academic year and work full time with no restrictions during holidays.
    • Typically the current minimum wage in the cleaning branch is €7.30  per  hour.  The        average hourly wage amongst industrial worker is about €14 per hour
    • Studentswith Finnish language skills are entitled for higher wages as compared to the students having no skills.

    Intake and Deadlines

    One Intake:    

    Autumn   – August

    Deadlines for Applications:

    Autumn – Starts from 9th January to 23rd January (for online registration) and 30th January for documents uploading.

    Entry Requirement

    For Bachelor’s:

    • 12th with minimum 55%

    For Master’s:

    • Minimum 55% in bachelor’s degree + 3 years of work experience (for some courses)

    Student selection criteria:

    • Online entrance examination + interview
    • SAT test

    Durations and Tuition Fees

    • Duration for all courses will be around 12‐24 Months.
    • Tuitions fees will go approximately from 10,000 to 13,000 Euros

    Eligibility Criteria for FinlandStudent Visa or Residence Permit

    To be eligible for Finland Student Visa or Residence Permit you must fulfill the following conditions:

    • You must provide the official letter of acceptance issued by your hosting Finnish university or educational institute or polytechnic
    • You must have a valid passport
    • Your passport must have a validity that exceeds the duration of the visa or residence permit you are applying for by at least 3 months
    • Your passport must have been issued within the previous10 years
    • you must have a copy of your completed and signed application form

    Eligibility Criteria for FinlandStudent Visa or Residence Permit

    You must provide proof of your financial ability so as to support yourself financially during your entire period   of study in Finland and for your return transportation. At present, a student must have a minimum of EUR 560 (INR 43,316.17) per month for staying in Finland.  This means the student must have minimum EUR 6720 (INR 519,794.02) per year for his or her expenses in Finland.

    You must provide a recent statement of your financial situation from your bank that shows you have at least EUR 6720 in your bank account. Note that students undertaking degree courses in Finland must have funds for one year at a time.

    Documents required for FinlandStudent Visa

    Below mentioned documents are required for a Student Visa Application:

    • Application Visa Form.
    • 2 photos must be attached; the photo should be of passport format – a recent whole‐
    • Face capture with a light background.
    • Passport
    • Travel Medical Insurance Visa confirmation of minimum 30,000 €
    • A cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Finland
    • Proof of Accommodation
    • Means of Subsistence ‐ Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay
