Important Notice: Change in Passport Collection Procedure at the USA Embassy & Consulate

As per the latest update from the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in India, effective 1st August 2025, the third-party or representative passport collection service will be discontinued.

New Procedure:

Applicants must collect their passports/documents in person.
For applicants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must collect the passport with an original consent letter signed by both parents.
Scanned or emailed consent letters will not be accepted.
Alternatively, applicants may opt for home or office delivery at a fee of ₹1200 per applicant.
