Webster University Named Top Institution for Hosting International Students
Webster University placed fourth among all institutions in Missouri, and #1 in Missouri for hosting international master’s students
in the latest IIE Open Doors report. The report, issued by the United States State Department, announced that international students studying in the U.S.
reached an all-time high of 1.1 million students earning U.S. degrees.

This year Webster also placed seventh among all institutions in the U.S. that confer master’s degrees on the annual list for hosting
international students from outside the United States, making it one of the top U.S. institutions for international graduate students.

In recent interviews on National Public Radio and KMOX, Webster’s Vice President for Enrollment Management, Lisa Blazer, noted that

Besides hosting international students, Webster was also ranked among the top 40 master’s-conferring institutions that send students from the U.S. to
study in other countries. According to the Open Doors report, about 23% of Webster undergraduates will study abroad, enhancing the
