Important update regarding the visa application process for the prospective students of the University of Debrecen

Due to new immigration regulations and stricter visa processing policies implemented by VFS, all students will now need to include proof of travel insurance when applying for their visa.

As you may know the University of Debrecen offers the Generali EUB health insurance to its students: its fee is included in the tuition fee and the insurance contract is automatically sent as part of the visa supporting documents.

While our visa support letter does state that the health insurance offered by the University of Debrecen should meet travel insurance requirements, in practice, authorities are rarely accepting it as such.

To help students avoid any complications or delays, we recommend they purchase a separate, comprehensive travel insurance policy specifically for their visa application.
